Malcolm Gandy – MCIHT, MSoRSA

Malcolm founded the company in 2004 after working for Essex County Council and then on the ECC term consultancy both with Mouchel and WS Atkins for over 11 years.
Malcolm has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of Road Safety Engineering and traffic management. He has carried out over 2,500 road safety audits in the UK and in Ireland, with many of these on major road schemes, such as new motorways, dual carriageways, grade separated junctions, road tunnel schemes and light rail projects. He has also carried out numerous audits on smaller scale schemes, including junction improvements, town centre enhancements, and traffic calming schemes.
He has a wide experience in the investigation, design and monitoring of accident remedial schemes including cluster sites, route studies, mass action sites and area wide traffic calming schemes, both in urban and rural environments.

Kevin Seymour - BSc, DipTS, MCIHT, MSoRSA

Kevin has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of Road Safety Engineering and Traffic Management. Prior to working with Road Safety Consulting, he worked for TMS Consultancy as a Senior Engineer and has worked with a number of local authorities and consultants as a Road Safety Engineer. He has a wide experience in the investigation, design and monitoring of accident remedial schemes including cluster sites, route studies, mass action sites and area-wide traffic calming schemes, both in urban and rural environments. He has carried out over 2,500 road safety audits, with many of these on major road schemes, such as new motorways, dual carriageways, grade separated junctions, road tunnel schemes and light rail projects. He has also carried out numerous audits on local schemes, including junction improvements, town centre enhancements, and traffic calming schemes and safer routes to school projects. Kevin has experience in carrying out road safety projects overseas, in various countries including The Netherlands, Ireland, Qatar and Romania. Clients for such projects have included National and Regional Government as well as developers and contracting organisations.

Elaine Bingham – BEng (Hons), MCIHT, MSoRSA

Elaine has more than 12 years' experience in Road Safety Engineering, Highways and Traffic Scheme Design. Prior to working with Road Safety Consulting, Elaine worked for TMS Consultancy as a Senior Engineer, at Warwickshire County Council as a Senior Road Safety Officer and at ARUP as a Graduate Engineer. Elaine has wide experience in the investigation, and design of accident remedial schemes including cluster sites, route studies, mass action sites and area-wide traffic calming schemes. Elaine also has extensive experience in carrying out road safety audits, safer route to school assessments, safety assessments, accessibility auditing, and workplace transport risk assessments. She has completed over 700 road safety audits including carrying out audits at all stages of major and minor schemes in the UK and Ireland. Schemes range from minor improvement schemes, pedestrian crossings, new development access roads, traffic signal junctions, roundabout junctions, area wide traffic calming schemes and new bypass schemes.
